Synapse

The high-fidelity connection inside a Cell that supports coherent flow and rapid iteration.

Membrane

The boundary between Cells, governed by explicit consent and sharing rules.

Honeycomb

A network of Cells connected via membranes. Interoperable, not assimilated.

Membrane Packet

A structured, consent-tagged format for anything that crosses a membrane.

Cartographer (AI role)

An observing role focused on coherence, drift, boundaries, and synthesis. Does not steer unless invited.

Cell Steward

The human role holding time, scope, consent, and closure for a session.

Membrane Steward

The human role ensuring boundary integrity and correct use of Membrane Packets.

Grafting

The process of connecting a new Cell to the network via a bounded pilot and debrief.

Rupture

A boundary crossing or consent break that compromises safety or sovereignty.

Repair

The process of containment, acknowledgement, protocol adjustment, and clean closure.
